Decadent Beetroot and Chocolate Brownies
The secret behind these brownies? Black beans and beetroot—shh, keep it between us! Even better, they come together in no time: just toss all the ingredients into a blender, whizz until smooth, and you’re ready to bake!
Cook Time: 30-35 Mins
Ingredients:
-1 TIN ORGANIC BLACK BEANS
-1 TSP BAKING POWDER
-1 EGG
-2 TBSP OLIVE OIL
-60G DARK CHOCOLATE - % YOUR CHOICE
-90G COOKED BEETROOT - YOU CAN ALSO ROAST FRESH FROM HOME
-40G COCOA POWDER
-75G COCONUT SUGAR
-DRIZZLE OF TAHINI
-PINCH OF HIMALAYAN OR CELTIC SALT
Instructions:
01. Set the oven to 180° Fan / 375° F
02. Line a preferred tin
03. Pour all of the ingredients together and blend in a mixer
04. Pour into the prepared tin and drizzle tahini over the top, swirling through to make a marbles effect, sprinkle a little salt on top.
05. Bake for between 30-35 depending on gooey preference.
06. Let cool before slicing into generous sized squares!
